Windows

IGUs are also sometimes referred to as “double-pane” or “triple-pane” windows, depending on the number of panes they contain. If you notice condensation or moisture between the layers of glass in your IGU, this may indicate that the seal between the panes has failed, allowing moisture to get in. In this case, the IGU will need to be replaced. Replacing the IGU with a new, energy-efficient unit may help improve the energy efficiency of your home. IGUs typically have a lifespan of about 10 years-15 years. If your IGUs are older than this, it may be time to consider replacing them.
