What should I expect when purchasing a shower enclosure?
Our Process:
- On-site measure- When your tile is completed, we come to you free of charge for a formal measurement of your shower glass. A detailed estimate and 3D rendering will be sent to you via email within about 48 hours.
- Approval and deposit- After you receive the estimate, we ask that you approve it and provide a 50% material deposit. Once this step is completed your glass is officially in production!
- Installation- After we receive and inspect your glass, we will reach out to you to schedule installation. Installation typically takes 1-4 hours depending on the complexity of the enclosure. Your new shower enclosure will be ready to use after 24 hours from installation once the silicone cures.
Is there anything I should know about preparing my space for glass installation?
Yes! Make sure the threshold is angled inwards to prevent water pooling. It is also a good idea to have 2 x 4 backing on the side the door is hinged off of for support.
Are frameless doors watertight?
No frameless shower door is 100% watertight. Due to the nature of frameless shower doors, you may experience minor water due to entering and exiting a wet shower.
Do you recommend any aftercare instructions?
We recommend using a squeegee after each shower to prevent hard water buildup. Clean the glass weekly with an alcohol based cleaner (i.e. Sprayaway). Do not use abrasive cleaners that may scratch the glass or ammonia-based cleaners.
Is shower glass safe?
Yes, typically, we use 3/8” tempered glass for frameless showers. Tempered glass is heat treated making it 7-10 times stronger than annealed glass.
What is your warranty?
One year on parts and labor.
